What Can I Expect During My First Visit to a Chiropractor?

You will complete a full medical history questionnaire and "new patient" paperwork. You will then consult with the doctor. A physical exam will be performed which may include neurological examination, thermal scan of your muscles, foot orthopedic scan as well as muscle range of musle testing. If you have not had X-rays taken within the last year then he will recommend X-rays be taken. Dr. Gawith will then review the information we gathered and then determine if your problems are chiropractic specific. If he finds he can help you, he develops a treatment plan that is very specific to each persons condition. He reviews your information with you on your second appointment.
